*The Three Tenors

Date/Time Saturday 10th July @ 8pm.

 

Venue  National Concert Hall, Earlsfort Terrace, D2.

John Scott, David Martin & Declan Kelly aka The Three Tenors will perform for the 1st time at The National Concert Hall with special guest Ellen McElroy in a concert of magical feel-good songs with fun & laughter. Tickets are €35 Eur each or (by PayPal €37 each Event Ref VNCH7/10).  Deadline 5th July. After this date, an extra late booking fee of €5 will apply. Please ring Camillus to check if places are still available.

 

*Sunday Cinema

Join us on the 11th July where during a social meeting we will all decide on which is the best film to see. Visitors must pay €5 Eur 5 days in advance if they wish to go.  This €5 will be taken off your Membership fee if you decide to join us in the same month, otherwise it is non refundable / transferable. *Theatre Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller.

Date/Time  Friday 16th July at 7.30pm.

Venue  The Gate Theatre, Cavendish Row, D1.

A Pulitzer prize- winning play.  Veteran salesman, Willy Loman, has always gotten along ‘riding on a smile and a shoeshine’, but recently seems to have lost his golden touch. Haunted by missed opportunities and a troubled past, his life begins to unravel as he starts to lose faith in the two things he believes in: his family and his dreams. Directed by renowned American director David Esbjornson and featuring a stellar cast including international stage and screen star Harris Yulin as Willy Loman, this production is not to be missed.

* Badminton Sundays & Tuesdays.

Want to end the weekend on a high? Come along to our Badminton session in Terenure next Sunday evening or Tuesday evening and try out a new game. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or an expert, we have players of all levels and the emphasis is on fun and enjoyment. Badminton sessions are open to members, visitors and friends of members so you can either come on your own or with friends.

 

Date/Time Sundays 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th July @ 7pm. Tuesdays 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th July @ 7pm. 

Venue Badminton Centre, Whitehall Road, Terenure, D12.

Visitors and friends of members are welcome to come along. The cost is €14 for the court and is equally divided between the number of people playing. Please ring Camillus on the previous day to let him know if you have booked. Bus numbers that go near are 15A and 150. Deadlines for these events is the day before the event. *HILL WALKS

Date: Sundays 4th & 18th July & 1st August.

Time:  10am.

Cost: Members free, Visitors and Friends €5

Venue: Details will be notified to Visitors and Friends when booking has been received.

Organiser: Dominic 086  210 1718.

Please bring hill walking boots, rain jacket and rain trousers, warm clothing, gloves and warm hat, lunch and flask, a change of clothing. Text or Phone Dominic between 3pm & 5pm on the Saturday prior to the Hill Walk.

Visitors and friends of members are welcome to come along and take part upon payment of an extra €5 through PayPal or directly to the organizer. This €5 will be taken off your Membership fee if you decide to join in the same month, otherwise it is non refundable /transferable. Please show your receipt to the organizer before the Hill Walk begins.

Visitors must pay 5 days in advance for hill walk or stroll. Text or phone Dominic between 3pm & 5pm the previous evening if you have booked. PayPal Booking Visitors reference is (Event Ref VHW07/10) and please bring the €5 Eur PayPal receipt with you when coming.

* Wine & Dine evening.

Do you fancy joining us for Wine and Dine at a Chinese Restaurant in Dublin 2, and making new friends? Our monthly wine and dine evenings are a club favourite, with chances to meet new people, make new friends and try new cuisine in a relaxed setting.

Date: Saturday 17th July.

Time: 8pm.

Venue: Dublin 2. Further details will be notified to Visitors and Friends when booking has been received.

Cost: Members €10 this is offset against restaurant bill or (€11 if paying by PayPal).

Visitors €30 (€10 of this is offset against restaurant bill and €20 can be offset against the membership fee of The Network Club if you join in the same month, otherwise it is non - refundable / transferable.

Booking: Please send your booking fee to Camillus by the 12th July. After this date, a late booking fee of €5 will apply. Call Camillus at 087 255 5980 before booking to check availability. You can book and pay online using a credit card. Please show your PayPal receipt to the organiser. Deadline for payment for this event is 12th July. * Adventure Safari.

 

Date/Time Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th July.

We are going up to Donegal and hoping to visit Glenveagh National Park, Glencolumbkille & Killybegs. We will be staying overnight in a B&B in Dungloe and Letterkenny.   There may be a shortage of cars and if you have a car and are willing to take part in this Weekend by carrying a few members then email me at info@networkclub.ie Each Car owner will receive petrol money of 20 Eur from each member that they carry. There is a non - refundable / transferable deposit of €50 Eur required by the Deadline of 16th July. Places are limited and please send the deposit to guarantee your place.  Please ring Camillus at 087 255 5980 to check availability.
